Regarding Korea's Dokkaebi (globin), the derivations can be found from the ancient society myths, the oral folktales, and the popular beliefs. Regarding Korea's Dokkaebi, who enjoys drinking, singing, and dancing, who likes playing around, and whose special characteristic of the good triumphing over the evil, which gives good fortune to the good people and which punishes the bad people, is inherent, it can be seen to be an original existence to which the ethics of the traditional society of Korea, which overflows with real fun and humor and which emphasizes the manners and the virtue, was projected.
So, the artist Park Juhyun, he shows the many kinds of the Dokkaebi characters, the real fun and mysteriousness, inherent in dokkaebis, and works of a series of fictional historical paintings based on dokkaebis.
