루프 랩 부산(Loop Lab Busan)은 2025년 4월 23일부터 6월 29일까지 부산 전역에서 개최되는 국내 최초의 미디어 아트 페스티벌로, 스페인 바르셀로나에서 시작된 루프 페어(Loop Fair)의 아시아 첫 번째 확장판입니다. 이번 페스티벌은 부산시립미술관, 부산현대미술관, F1963, 부산영화의전당 등 20여 개의 문화공간에서 진행되며, 아트페어, 포럼, 전시를 결합한 복합적인 플랫폼을 제공합니다.
특히 아트페어는 4월 24일부터 26일까지 그랜드 조선 부산 호텔에서 열리며, 25개 국내외 갤러리가 참여해 디지털 영상, VR, AI 기반 작품들을 선보입니다. 포럼은 4월 24일부터 25일까지 진행되며, 미디어 아트 수집과 예술과 자본을 주제로 디지털 자산의 수집 및 보관에 대한 논의가 이루어집니다. 전시는 6월 29일까지 계속되며, 영상, 설치미술, VR, AI 등 다양한 매체를 활용한 작품들이 소개됩니다.
부산시립미술관의 '디지털 서브컬처' 전시와 F1963에서 진행되는 토니 아슬러(Tony Oursler) 작품은 특히 큰 호평을 받고 있습니다. 루프 랩 부산은 부산을 아시아의 디지털 미디어 아트 중심지로 자리매김하려는 중요한 이정표가 되고 있으며, 글로벌 예술계와의 교류를 통해 현대 미술의 새로운 패러다임을 제시하고 있습니다.
