형태: 상업 갤러리, 기획사, 공연 제작사, 아트페어 운영사
특징: 작품 판매, 티켓 수익, 후원·스폰서십 중심으로 재정 구조 운영
비영리 조직
목적: 공공성, 사회적 가치, 예술 진흥
형태: 재단법인, 사단법인, 협동조합, 시민단체
특징: 정부·지자체 보조금, 기부금, 회원제 기반으로 운영
출연기관(공공재단형)
예: 한국문화예술위원회, 지역문화재단
특징: 법적으로는 민간 법인이지만 정부·지자체가 출연하여 설립
인건비, 기본예산을 공적 재원으로 충당
2. 소유·재원에 따른 구분
공공 조직
국공립 미술관, 시립 공연장, 문화재단
안정적이지만 행정 절차가 복잡, 혁신성 제약
민간 조직

예술 형태별 차별적 경영 전략
공연예술은 관객 동원력과 좌석 점유율 관리가 핵심이고, 시각예술은 작품 유통과 컬렉터 네트워크가 중심이다. 따라서 조직 구조와 운영 방식은 장르 특성을 반영해야 한다.
법적 형태와 신뢰성
개인 사업은 빠른 실행력이 강점이나, 장기적 협력·후원 유치에는 법인격이 필요하다. 따라서 성장 단계에서 법인 전환이 필수적이다.
지속가능성의 관건은 ‘혼합재원’
공공 지원금, 민간 후원, 자체 수익 구조가 균형을 이룰 때 장기적 지속 가능성이 확보된다. 단일 재원에 의존할 경우 리스크가 크다.
