제4회 영광군 청년작가 교류전 《Boundary Between》은 서로 다른 지역에서 작업해온 청년작가들이 만나며 생성되는 긴장과 울림을 기록한다. 전시는 충돌에서 비롯되는 미세한 떨림을 창조적 긴장으로 바라보고, 작품·태도·작가 사이에서 발생하는 ‘사이의 결’을 새로운 관계가 태어나는 지점으로 제시한다. 지역 작가들이 겪는 어려움은 자원의 부족보다도 낯선 세계와 마주할 기회의 제한에서 비롯된다. 이 교류전은 그 만남을 매년 지속함으로써, 작가들이 자신의 작업을 재점검하고 타인의 방식에서 새로운 감각을 발견하도록 돕는다. 이러한 축적의 과정은 지역 예술 생태계의 흐름을 서서히 변화시키며, 교류전을 단순한 행사에서 지속적 실천의 장으로 확장시킨다. 《Boundary Between》은 차이를 분리의 선이 아니라 가능성의 문으로 이해하며, 그 사이에서 태어나는 관계의 잠재성을 관객과 나눈다.

The 4th Yeonggwang Youth Artists Exchange Exhibition, 《Boundary Between》, captures the tension and resonance that emerge when young artists from different regions come together. The exhibition views the subtle tremors produced by collision as creative tension, framing the fine grain that exists between artworks, attitudes, and artists as a generative space where new relationships arise. The challenges faced by regional artists stem less from a lack of resources than from limited opportunities to encounter unfamiliar artistic worlds. By sustaining these meetings annually, the exchange encourages artists to reconsider their own practices and discover new sensibilities through others. This accumulated process gradually shifts the temperature of the local art ecosystem, transforming the exhibition from a single event into an ongoing field of practice. 《Boundary Between》 understands difference not as a dividing line but as a threshold of possibility, sharing with the audience the potential relationships that emerge in-between.
